What’s Yoga for Renewal?

Yoga for Renewal is a form of yoga therapy, a one-of-a-kind yoga-based healing modality that helps you deepen your healing journey. Elisabeth Perucca, an Atlanta-based certified yoga therapist, designed Yoga for Renewal out of her own life experience.

The most beautiful thing about Yoga for Renewal is that it is for everybody—whether you are young, in your 90’s or in a wheelchair.

It uses two components—a unique gentle yoga practice that Elisabeth learned from her teacher, Aline Frati, for 14 years in Paris, and a safe space to speak your truth.

The yoga practice that Elisabeth teaches helps you listen to your body and dissolve repetitive patterns of fear and anxiety that come from childhood and get fixed in the body in the form of pain.

Elisabeth’s teacher, Aline Frati, was a yoga teacher of 40 years, who lived in Paris. Aline followed the teaching of her own teacher, Dr. Jean Klein. She passed away in 2018.

The healing circle is used for you to share your deepest longings, in a safe space.

The combination of both the yoga practice and the healing circle makes Yoga for Renewal a deep self-care experience by bringing more wholeness, authenticity and aliveness in your life.

With the pandemic, Yoga for Renewal has revealed itself being helpful in guiding students to relax deeply, reduce fear, gain clarity and bond with others.

Elisabeth is an IAYT-Certified (C-IAYT) Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. The yoga therapy components of her teaching are based on her IAYT certification, not derived from her status as an RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.
